By default, domain names registered through us are automatically "locked". Locking a domain registration is a precautionary measure intended to prevent unauthorized transfers.
If you wish to transfer the domain to another registrar, then you must first unlock it. However, note that a domain name less than 60 days old cannot be transferred from one registrar to another.
Before You Begin
First, determine whether your .mobile domain is classified as Standard or Premium. Then follow the appropriate instructions based on your domain type by using the links below:

Changing the domain lock status of a Standard .mobile Domain name
To change the Lock status of a domain name:
1. Log in to your Control Panel using the instructions in the "How to Access Your .mobile Domain Control Panel" article.
2. Click on the Domain Name link visible on the Home page.
3. On the Domain Names page, click on the Edit link next to the domain name that you want to unlock.
4. Click Edit in the box that displays the Domain Lock status of the domain name.
5. Check the appropriate circle for either Locked or Unlocked.
6. Click Update Now to save the changes.
Changing the domain lock status of a Premium .mobile Domain domain
Customers can unlock domains by going to Domains > My Domains in the client area, clicking on the domain, and then clicking Registrar Lock.
1. Log in to your Control Panel using the instructions in the "How to Access Your .mobile Domain Control Panel" article.
2. Once logged in, click on the "Domains" menu button.
3. Click on any field next to the domain name (e.g., example.mobile) that you wish to Lock/Unlock.
4. In the left side menu, click on the "Registrar Lock" button.
5. Select "Disable Registrar Lock" to unlock the domain name or "Enable Registrar Lock" to lock the domain.
