This help article provides step-by-step instructions for configuring your .MUSIC Mail (POP/IMAP) mailbox in Outlook for iOS.
This article includes the following sections:
I. Set up Outlook for iOS for the first time
1. Open the Outlook for iOS app on your iOS device.
2. Select Add Account to add your existing email account.
Note: Outlook may detect and pre-select your email account. Choose Continue if Outlook has detected your correct email account, or tap Skip to enter your email address manually.
3. On the "Add Account" screen, type your email address and tap "Add Account".
Important: Outlook for iOS only supports Microsoft Exchange and IMAP accounts; POP is not supported.
4. On the next Advanced Settings screen, input the desired display name and description. Then continue with the incoming and outgoing server settings below.
IMAP Incoming Mail Server
IMAP Hostname: imap.siteprotect.com
IMAP Port: 993
Port Security: SSL
Important: SSL is enabled by default in the Outlook mobile app. If you want to switch to TLS for IMAP, tap on "Port Security" and then select STARTTLS. Return to the previous screen and change the IMAP port to 143.
IMAP Username: your full email address
IMAP Password: the correct password
SMTP Outgoing Mail Server
SMTP Hostname: smtp.siteprotect.com
SMTP Port: 465
Port Security: SSL
Important: SSL is enabled by default in the Outlook mobile app. If you want to switch to TLS for SMTP, tap on "Port Security" and then select STARTTLS. Don't forget to change the port to 587.
SMTP Username: your full email address
SMTP Password: the correct password
5. Once you have filled in all the necessary email settings, tap Sign In.
6. On the "Your Data, Your Way" screen, tap Next.
7. Then on the "Getting Better Together" screen, choose Accept or Decline.
8. Next, on the "Powering Your Experiences" screen, tap Continue to Outlook.
9. We don't want to add another account now, so choose "Maybe Later" to finalize the account setup.
10. On the last step, you will see your Inbox and the most recent emails.
II. Set up another email account in Outlook for iOS
1. Open the Outlook for iOS app on your iOS device.
2. On the top left corner of the app, next to Inbox, tap your profile icon.
2. Then tap on Settings.
3. Under General, tap on Accounts.
4. Select Add Account to add one of your existing email accounts.
5. On the "Add Account" screen, tap Email Account.

6. On the next screen, type your email address and tap on "Add Account".
